Unfortunately, consumers are more likely to write a negative review when something goes wrong rather than a positive one when things go right. As a result, we believe that a good defense is a strong offense. Get More Reviews is an easy-to-use dashboard that prompts review requests to a site of your choosing, such as Google or Facebook. These review prompts are sent directly to your customers via text message or email, offering a 1-click link to post a 5-star review. The system also monitors and alerts you when a negative review rolls in so that you can send additional requests out to “offset” the bad rating. We think that for the price, Get More Reviews is the best solution on the market today.
3. HubSpot
Every business needs a CRM tool, and HubSpot delivers a powerful one that is completely free to use. They offer a lot of support material and ancillary services that make using HubSpot a no-brainer.
4. MobileMonkey
Chatbots are, in many ways, the way of the future. We all recognize how important automation is, and chatbots enable you to automate some of the discovery processes that you might have with a prospective customer. Mobile Monkey is easy to set up and use, and it works across different platforms including Facebook Messenger. Better yet, they offer a free tier which should work for most people’s businesses.
5. GetResponse
If you have been around the marketing block for a while, you have surely heard of the term “marketing funnel”. This is because a well set up funnel can create a great deal of new business interest. GetResponse enables you to set up an entire sales funnel, with landing pages and conversion tools, for a reasonable price. If you are an active marketer, you have most likely heard of another funnel provider that is extraordinarily expensive. We think GetResponse delivers similar functionality at a fraction of the cost.
6. Canva
Canva is your one stop shop for everything design. They make creative work accessible to everyone with an endless supply of great stock templates and easy to manage tools for making any and all design changes. From Instagram posts, to email design, Canva does it all and then some. The best part is that most of their platform is free to use, and all of the premium content is ridiculously affordable at just $13/month.
7. SlickText
A big focus for our clients this year is text message marketing. The results from text message marketing blow traditional email out of the water. Typical open rates for email marketing is around 20% compared to around 97% for text messaging. This marketing strategy works well for keeping existing clients engaged and purchasing from you. We primarily utilize it for flash sales on products and services that we want to promote. The provider we use is Slick Text because they offer all the functionality we need at the most cost-effective price.
